The Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) has arrested retired Major General Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury in connection with the attack, vandalism, looting and firing at New Guinea Properties.
He was arrested from a residence in Segunbagicha under Ramna Police Station around 2:45 pm on Wednesday (September 30). DB chief Additional Commissioner Shafiqul Islam said a team of DB's Gulshan Division conducted the operation.

Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury is the fourth accused in the case filed at Cantonment Police Station.

Earlier, Cantonment Police Station police and DB had arrested six more people in this incident.
