Brother-sister duo chairmen, defaulted loans rising at two banks
Uzma Chowdhury, a director of PRAN-RFL Group, and Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, chairman and chief executive officer of the same group, are serving as chairmen of Meghna Bank and Midland Bank. They are siblings. After they took charge, defaulted loans increased at both banks, according to relevant sources and bank data.
