Gold prices have been reduced another round in the country's market. According to the newly fixed price, the price of 22-karat gold ornaments per bhori, including VAT, has decreased by Tk 1,633. Gold is being bought and sold in the market on Saturday (October 31) at this price, effective from 10 am last Friday (October 30).
According to the new price list, the price of the highest-quality 22-karat gold ornaments per bhori (11.664 grams), including VAT, has been fixed at Tk 223,074. Earlier, the price of this quality of gold was Tk 224,707.

In addition, the price of 21-karat gold has been fixed at Tk 213,042 and the price of 18-karat gold at Tk 182,949. On the other hand, gold of the traditional method is being sold at Tk 149,474 per bhori. Relevant persons have advised buyers to verify the price according to karat before buying gold.
