On Wednesday (September 30) night, he said these things at a Waz and Mahfil organized by the Hajiganj upazila branch of Bangladesh Mujahid Committee at the historic Bara Masjid in Hajiganj, Chandpur.
In his speech, he highlighted the country's contemporary political and social situation, people's rights, morality, and the need to establish justice and accountability in society. At that time, Charmonai Pir criticized extortion, terrorism, corruption, and looting.
Regarding political activities under the guise of an Islamic party, he said, ‘By naming themselves an Islamic party, they hold processions and meetings with unveiled women—what kind of Islamic party are they?’ He also emphasized practicing Islamic values in political and social activities.
At the mahfil, Charmonai Pir also made the remark, ‘The Khajurs have eaten the country, but the blame has fallen on the huzurs.’ Alongside, he called upon everyone to raise awareness against injustice, irregularities and corruption and to play a role in protecting people's rights.
People from various classes and professions of Hajiganj, worshippers, and leaders and activists of Bangladesh Mujahid Committee participated in the mahfil.
