On Tuesday (September 29), teachers, students, guardians, local residents and people from various professions and walks of life took part in the event held on the school premises. A discussion meeting was held, and felicitations, mementos and gifts were presented at the event.

Chandpur District Primary Education Officer Muhammad Mozadddek Hossain was the chief guest at the event, presided over by Pir-e Kamel Alhaj Hazrat Maulana AKM Neyamat Ullah Khan, president of the School Management Committee. Officials of the education department, teachers, local dignitaries and public representatives were also present.

The outgoing head teacher was presented with a crest, a certificate of honour and various gifts on behalf of the school's teachers, the management committee, local residents, and current and former students. Later, he was bid farewell with a flower garland to the rhythm of a band party's musical instruments.

Towards the end of the event, an emotional atmosphere was created. Md. Mahbub Alam Chowdhury sought forgiveness from colleagues, students and local residents if there had been any mistakes during his long teaching career. At that time, the teachers, students and local residents present expressed their respect and love for him.
