On Saturday (July 18) afternoon, the president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, confirmed this information to the media.
He said, according to the instructions of Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon, preparations were made to publish the results by July 20. However, due to various urgent administrative activities, the work of preparing the results could not be completed within the stipulated time. As a result, the publication of results will be delayed by a few days.
However, stating that it will not be too late, the board chairman said, 'Insha'Allah, we will be able to publish the results within this month.'
Earlier, on June 15, in a press conference, the Education Minister had announced that the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations would be published by July 20. At the same time, he expressed hope that the results of this year's HSC and equivalent examinations would be published within two months of the exams ending.
According to board sources, this year, 1,857,344 students registered to participate in the SSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards in the country. Among them, 930,305 are male students and 927,039 are female students. Additionally, 208 examinees were expelled for adopting unfair means during the exams.
