A high-level BNP delegation arrived in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, today, Wednesday (November 4), to attend the 13th General Session of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP). The delegation includes the party's National Standing Committee member Md. Ismail Zabihullah and Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince. They were welcomed at Incheon Airport in Seoul by ICAPP representatives and officials of the Bangladesh Embassy.
Representatives of 96 political parties from 37 countries in Asia will participate in the two-day conference, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Thursday morning, at Hotel Shilla Seoul. Under the theme ‘Rebuilding Trust in a Changing World’, participating delegates will exchange views on the contemporary political situation, mutual cooperation and building trust. It may be noted that besides BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, National Citizen Party (NCP), Jatiya Party and Islami Andolan Bangladesh have also been invited to this international conference.
