In the domestic market, gold prices have been reduced by a total of Tk 10,439 per bhori over four consecutive cuts. According to the latest rates set by the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus), gold is being sold across the country at the new rates on Monday (October 26).
According to Bajus's price list, currently the price of 22-carat gold per bhori is Tk 2,20,858. In addition, 21-carat gold is being sold at Tk 2,10,943 per bhori, 18-carat at Tk 1,81,200, and traditional-method gold at Tk 1,48,016 per bhori.

A notice from Bajus's Pricing and Price Monitoring Standing Committee stated that the decision was taken in the domestic market because the price of pure or Tejabi gold had fallen in the international market. Earlier, on October 13, 22 and 23, the organization had also reduced gold prices.
