The meeting discussed water supply and sanitation, rural development, tackling the impacts of climate change, and various development projects in the local government sector.

The minister said that the government and development partners need to work together to enhance the capacity of the local government sector and deliver quality citizen services to people's doorsteps.

At this time, emphasis was placed on further strengthening the existing development cooperation between Bangladesh and the World Bank in the future.
