He said this in response to a journalist's question at a press conference organized at the Secretariat on Tuesday (August 25) on the progress of various government activities.

When a journalist referred to him as a ‘relative of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina’ while asking about bringing Sheikh Hasina back to the country, Partha requested that the question be asked more professionally.

Regarding bringing Sheikh Hasina back, the minister said the government wants to ensure a fair trial of the July movement and related incidents by bringing back all the accused in the cases, including her.

It is to be noted that Partha's mother Reba Rahman is a sister of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Partha married Sheikh Sayera Rahman, daughter of Sheikh Helal Uddin, a cousin of Sheikh Hasina.
