Acting President Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed paid tribute to the martyrs of the Great Liberation War at the National Martyrs' Memorial.
On Sunday (July 26) at 11:40 am, he paid this tribute by laying a wreath at the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar.
During the tribute, a contingent comprising members of the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force gave the acting president a state 'Guard of Honor'.
After laying the wreath, he stood in silence for a while in memory of the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Great Liberation War. Later, he signed the visitor's book at the National Martyrs' Memorial.
