Prime Minister's letter to Qatar's Emir inviting investment in Bangladesh
Prime Minister Tariq Rahman has invited Qatari investors to increase investment in Bangladesh. Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman handed over a letter addressed to the Emir of Qatar for this purpose.

On Friday (July 24), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that during an event organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, Bangladesh's Foreign Minister held a bilateral meeting with Qatar's Deputy Foreign Minister Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

The meeting discussed various issues to strengthen bilateral relations, trade, investment, and mutual cooperation between Bangladesh and Qatar. Both sides also exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Dr. Khalilur Rahman handed over the letter written by Prime Minister Tariq Rahman addressed to the Emir of Qatar.

The letter called for increasing Qatari investment in Bangladesh and leveraging new investment opportunities in various sectors.
