Due to illness, Religious Affairs Minister and BNP Vice Chairman Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad has been admitted to Singapore General Hospital. His hip replacement surgery is scheduled for Friday (July 24) around 12:00 PM Bangladesh time.
He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday (July 23). BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to the media.
He informed that the surgery will be performed at Singapore General Hospital under the leadership of Dr. Darren Tay Keng Jin.
Kaikobad, a six-time elected Member of Parliament from Muradnagar, Comilla, has been suffering from various physical complications for a long time. This surgery is being performed as part of his treatment.
Before the surgery, the Religious Affairs Minister has sought prayers from party activists and countrymen for his speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, the Amir of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, Muhiullah Babunagari, has also sought prayers from countrymen for Kaikobad's speedy recovery.
