Even a little rain brings fever-cold due to deficiency of which vitamin
Many people suffer from cold, fever, sore throat or body weakness after getting wet in a little rain. According to doctors, a deficiency of vitamin D in the body may be an important reason behind this.

Vitamin D is not only important for bone and dental health, but also plays a vital role in keeping the body's immune system active. If there is a deficiency of this vitamin, problems like cold, cough, fever and sore throat can easily occur due to weather changes or exposure to viruses.

According to experts, fever is not directly caused by getting wet in the rain. However, viruses become more active in cold and humid environments. If the immune system is weak at this time, the risk of infection increases.

Research has shown that if there is a deficiency of vitamin D, the likelihood of contracting respiratory tract infections is comparatively higher. Taking vitamin D as per a doctor's advice, if necessary, may somewhat reduce the risk of such infections.

Common symptoms of vitamin D deficiency

Frequent colds and fevers

Excessive fatigue

Bone and muscle pain

Feeling weak in the body

How to get vitamin D?

Spending some time in the morning or afternoon sun every day

Eating eggs, seafood, milk, and vitamin D-rich foods

If necessary, taking supplements after a blood test on a doctor's advice

Caution: It is not advisable to take vitamin D supplements on your own without a test or a doctor's advice. Excess vitamin D can be harmful to the body.
