Where NCP leaders are celebrating Eid

The holy Eid-ul-Azha is just a night away. Many members of parliament and senior leaders of the National Citizens Party (NCP) have already left for their respective areas. They will share the joy of Eid with their families, relatives, and party workers there. However, a few senior leaders of the party are staying in Dhaka and will celebrate Eid there.

Speaking to several NCP leaders, it has been learned that the party's convener and opposition chief whip in the national parliament, Nahid Islam, is celebrating Eid in Dhaka. He will perform the Eid-ul-Azha prayers at the Salam Bagh Jame Mosque in East Rampura, which falls under his constituency, Dhaka-11. After the prayers, Nahid will exchange Eid greetings with the local people.

According to party sources, NCP member secretary and Member of Parliament Akhtar Hossain will perform his Eid prayers at the Munshipara Eidgah field in Bhaierhat, Kaunia upazila, Rangpur, his own constituency.

Member of Parliament and NCP's chief organizer for the southern region, Hasnat Abdullah, will celebrate Eid in his own constituency. He is scheduled to perform his Eid prayers at a mosque in Debiddwar, Comilla.

NCP leader Abdul Hannan Masud was elected as a Member of Parliament from the Noakhali-6 constituency. He will perform his Eid prayers at the mosque in his ancestral village, Burirchar, Hatiya. He is scheduled to exchange greetings with the local people throughout the day.

Member of Parliament from the Kurigram-2 constituency and NCP leader Atik Mujahid will perform his Eid prayers at the central Eidgah field in Kurigram. Member of Parliament from the Narayanganj-4 constituency, Abdullah Al Amin, will perform his Eid prayers at the district's central Eidgah.

Additionally, NCP-nominated reserved women's seat Members of Parliament Mahmuda Alam and Nusrat Tabassum will celebrate Eid in their respective areas. Mahmuda's ancestral home is in Jhalokati, while Nusrat's is in Daulatpur, Kushtia.

NCP's chief coordinator for the northern region, Sarjis Alam, will celebrate Eid in his own area. He is scheduled to perform his Eid prayers at the Eidgah in the field of Rakhaldevi High School in Aloakhoya Union, Atwari upazila, Panchagarh.

NCP spokesperson and the party's nominated mayoral candidate for the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) election, Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, is celebrating Eid in Dhaka this time. NCP's chief coordinator, Nasiruddin Patwari, will also be in Dhaka during Eid. These two leaders will perform their Eid prayers at the National Eidgah.

The party's senior joint convener and convener of the Dhaka Metropolitan North branch, Ariful Islam (Adib), will perform his Eid prayers at the Central Jame Mosque in Uttara, the capital.

NCP's senior joint convener Samanta Sharmin will spend Eid time in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, and senior joint member secretary Nahida Sarwar Niva will spend it in the Farmgate area with party workers, well-wishers, and family members.
