Environment Department conducts drives in Narayanganj and South Keraniganj to prevent river pollution, collects samples

To keep the waterways around Dhaka navigable and prevent river pollution, the Department of Environment has conducted drives at multiple industrial establishments in Narayanganj and South Keraniganj, Dhaka. During the drives, samples of liquid waste discharged by various establishments were collected. The department said if tests prove pollution, legal action will be taken against the concerned establishments.
