Finance Minister falls as stage collapses during relief distribution event

During a relief distribution event for flood victims in Chandanaish, Chattogram, a portion of the stage collapsed as too many people climbed onto it, causing Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury to fall. However, no one including the minister was injured in the incident.

Continuous rain and landslides cause 33 deaths in Chattogram in 5 days

Continuous heavy rainfall, hill torrents, and landslides have created a severe flood situation in the southeastern region of the country. In the last five days, at least 33 people have died in greater Chattogram due to landslides, wall collapses, and drowning. Among the deceased, 15 are Rohingya. Additionally, two people are still missing in Boalkhali and Satkania.
