Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) has arrested Major (retd.) Md. Mozzafar Hossain, a convicted fugitive in the assassination of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, who had been on the run for 45 years. He was arrested today (Thursday, July 16).
The Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) said he was arrested after being on the run for 45 years. Later, after legal procedures, he was handed over to the Bangladesh Army.
