He said this on Tuesday (July 14) in response to a question in the National Parliament.

The Education Minister said the government has been concerned from the beginning about organizing exams during the monsoon season and is monitoring the situation around the clock.

He said that if water accumulates at any exam center, instructions have been given to change the center immediately. Local administration has been given this responsibility and necessary measures are being taken.

The minister informed that the biggest problem so far has been at the Comilla Government College center, where measures had to be taken due to waterlogging in the field. In addition, at other places where water has risen, students have been ensured the opportunity to take exams by quickly changing the center.

He said that the convenience of students is being given the highest priority. If any student is harmed anywhere, it is not difficult for the government to resolve it. Exams have already been postponed in several places and arrangements are in place to conduct re-examinations using alternative question papers.

The Education Minister further said that if any student is unable to take the exam due to administrative errors, information is being collected on that matter. If necessary, re-examinations will be conducted at the relevant centers. Such arrangements have already been made in the Chittagong Education Board.

Addressing the students, he said, 'I would like to request again, let the students return to their respective study tables. We are more worried than them—we are working on how to conduct the exams properly and how to deal with this disaster.'

Regarding errors in question papers, he also said that there are provisions for re-examinations at centers where such problems have occurred. He said, 'They are our future. Under no circumstances do we want to deprive them, nor will we.'
