On Tuesday (July 14), around 11 AM, as part of a pre-announced program, students blocked roads at various locations in the capital, including Science Lab intersection and in front of the Uttara BNS Center.

The protesters chanted slogans such as 'No politics with education' and 'We demand the Education Minister's resignation'. They alleged that the HSC exams are being conducted without considering the real situation of the students.

The students demand that despite recent heavy rainfall causing waterlogging in the capital and various parts of the country, the exams were not postponed. As a result, many examinees had to travel through water and mud, and in some places even by boat, to reach exam centers. This has caused them extreme physical and mental suffering.

They further alleged that the Physics first paper question paper contained errors and that the standard of the questions was not consistent with the students' preparation and the syllabus. They stated they have no objection to difficult questions, but the question papers must be error-free and syllabus-based.

The protesters said their eight-point demands include postponing the HSC exams until a favorable environment is ensured, apologizing to students and guardians for the errors in the question papers, awarding appropriate marks to affected students, stopping experimental decisions in the examination system, and ensuring a non-political environment in the education system.

They also demanded that future question papers be prepared following the entire year's curriculum and that effective steps be taken for the overall improvement of the education system.

The students warned that if their demands are not met, the movement demanding the Education Minister's resignation will be intensified.
