Trading on DSE crosses Tk 1,573 crore amid index rise
On the third working day of the week, Tuesday (June 30), trading on the country's main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended with an upward trend. All major indices rose on the day. Additionally, the volume of trading increased significantly compared to the previous working day.

According to the data, at the end of the day's trading, the DSE's main price index DSEX rose by 40.29 points to stand at 5,762 points.

In addition, the DSES index rose by 11.39 points to 1,168 points, and the DS-30 index rose by 11.91 points to 2,178 points.

During the day, a total of Tk 1,573 crore 65 lakh worth of shares and units were traded on the DSE. The trading volume on the previous working day was Tk 1,351 crore 51 lakh. That is, trading increased by Tk 222 crore 14 lakh in the span of one working day.

On this day, shares and units of a total of 397 companies were traded on the DSE. Among them, the share prices of 249 institutions increased, 94 decreased, and the share prices of 54 institutions remained unchanged.
