MPO of another 117 teachers cancelled for fake certificates
The Ministry of Education has cancelled the MPO benefits of another 117 teachers after the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) found evidence of fake certificates during verification.

At the same time, the process of taking legal action against them has also begun. This information was provided in two separate notices from the Ministry of Education on Sunday (May 24).

The notices stated that the MPO of these teachers has been cancelled according to Article 18 of the Private Educational Institution (Madrasa) Staff Structure and MPO Policy-2026. Among them are teachers from madrasas and technical educational institutions. Meanwhile, on the same day, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) issued show-cause notices to 24 college teachers on allegations of fake certificates. This information was provided in an official order issued from the Private College Branch-3 of the directorate.

The order stated that information on a total of 85 teachers with fake or forged certificates was found in a list sent by the internal audit branch of the Ministry of Education. Among them, 24 are at the college level and 61 are at the school level. Their certificates were proven fake during NTRCA verification. Instructions have been given to cancel the MPO of these teachers, recover the money taken as government grants and salaries, and take necessary legal action, including filing cases.

At the same time, the concerned individuals have been asked to explain why their MPO should not be cancelled or suspended and why their appointments should not be cancelled. They have been instructed to submit a written reply to the DSHE through the appropriate authority within 10 working days of receiving the notice.
