He said, ‘Earlier, people had the fear of abduction, crossfire, false cases, and political harassment. But in the current situation, that panic is absent, so people are celebrating Eid with relief and peace of mind.’

Rizvi said these things while talking to journalists on Thursday (May 28) morning after visiting the graves of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
This BNP leader said, I think the people of the country are celebrating Eid with great sincerity and spontaneity. After being in a stifling, suffocating, and breathless situation for so long, people are now able to celebrate Eid fearlessly. Now there is no fear of abduction, no fear of crossfire, and no fear of being arrested at any moment through false cases.
Rizvi further said, There is no longer a situation where anyone becomes a victim of state oppression due to political differences. No matter which party they belong to, no one is being subjected to harassment for political reasons. Rather, the current elected government is performing its duties with a humane face.
Highlighting the political ideals and struggles of Begum Khaleda Zia, the Prime Minister's Political Advisor said, Begum Khaleda Zia could not be made to deviate even minimally. Until the end of her life, she never deviated from her ideals, commitments, and political path. She followed in the footsteps of her husband, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.

He further said, Currently, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is also running the country following that same political philosophy. It is almost 100 days now. During this time, he has been working tirelessly to implement the promises made before the election.
