The Information Minister said, the challenge of controlling fake news and distorted information is not only Bangladesh’s, but the whole world’s. Therefore, along with taking legal action, it is necessary to maintain a balance between freedom of expression and news regulation.
He also said that discussions are ongoing with stakeholders and media owners to control fake news. On this day, the minister visited various puja mandaps in the city, including the Madan Mohan Temple and Laxmi Gobinda Temple in Bhola.
