He said this on Thursday while inaugurating the purchase of goods using Bangla QR code at Banani Kacha Bazar in the capital. The Finance Minister said that money can be received through QR code into the account of any bank or service provider.

Noting that people from all walks of society, including fuchka vendors, rickshaw pullers, and small traders, will be brought under QR-based digital financial services, he said this will reduce the need to carry cash and make transactions faster and easier.
Mentioning that some technical problems may arise in the initial stage, the Finance Minister said these problems will be solved quickly. He also said Bangladesh Bank is working with the goal of launching cashless transactions for everyone.
