Investigation ongoing into hawker-police clash in Mirpur: Home Minister

He said this to journalists after a meeting at the Secretariat on Wednesday (September 30).

Regarding the law and order situation during Durga Puja, the Home Minister said all necessary measures have been taken to keep the festival uninterrupted. He also said there is no threat of a terrorist attack centering the Puja. The security situation across the country is being monitored through an app.

Salahuddin Ahmed said no one is being spared in incidents of extortion and attacks, and action is being taken against those involved in accordance with the law.

Commenting that BNP is being indiscriminately called extortionists, he said the people themselves will judge this matter.
