On Tuesday (September 1) afternoon, he signed the condolence book at the Nepal Embassy in Dhaka. Later, during a courtesy meeting with Nepal's Ambassador Ghanshyam Bhandari, he expressed condolences to the government and people of Nepal.

Jamaat mourns Nepal floods and glacial collapse
Mia Golam Parwar said, "During this difficult time in Nepal, Bangladesh and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami stand by the people of the country." He expressed solidarity with the affected people, rescue teams and the Nepalese government.
At this time, condolences were also conveyed on behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer and Leader of the Opposition in the National Parliament, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.

Referring to the longstanding friendly relations between the two countries in the meeting, Mia Golam Parwar expressed hope that mutual cooperation and humanitarian ties would be further strengthened during this disaster.
It is to be noted that after a glacial collapse on the Nepal-Tibet border on August 26, floods, mud and rock flows have caused extensive damage in various areas including Rasuwa, Nepal. Rescue and search operations are ongoing.
