Not travel pass, extradition treaty needed to bring Hasina back: state minister
Regarding the proposed tripartite corridor involving Bangladesh, China and Myanmar, the state minister said Bangladesh does not see any geopolitical concern over the initiative. If the corridor is implemented, the entire region will become an important commercial hub. Dhaka has sufficient interest in joining it, but before that, a permanent solution to the Rohingya crisis is needed.
He also expressed hope that through Liu Haixing's visit, bilateral and strategic relations between China and Bangladesh will become deeper and more dynamic in the days ahead.
