Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said the law and order situation in the country is now extremely bad. Murders, rapes, extortion and land-grabbing are increasing every day. He alleged that the police administration is being used for partisan work instead of being a friend of the people. He said the Ministry of Home Affairs is the most sensitive area of the state, yet the minister is not paying attention to it and is interfering in all areas, including education, health and local government.
