During the same period, 1,252 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals. Currently, 2,954 are undergoing treatment in various hospitals across the country.

4 more die from dengue in 24 hours
This information was provided in a regular press release from the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday. Of the four deceased, two were men and two were women. One of them was a child.
According to the health directorate, 39,532 people have been admitted to hospitals with dengue so far this year. Of them, 36,467 have recovered and been discharged.

Of the 111 deaths, 61 were women and 50 were men. The highest number of deaths, 37, occurred in Dhaka South City Corporation area. Following that, 19 died in Khulna, 16 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 12 in Mymensingh, and 10 in Barishal.
