Speaker's remark after hearing Gazi Nazrul's name, 'GM is not there'

Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed called out the name of Gazi Nazrul Islam to raise the question. However, not finding him in his seat, he remarked humorously, 'GM is not there.' This drew laughter from the members present in the House.

Recently, after a video of a personal moment circulated on social media brought him into discussion, Jamaat-e-Islami expelled Gazi Nazrul Islam from the party. Later, he was also not invited to a parliamentary committee meeting.
