Opposition Leader Dr Shafiqur Rahman Holds Meeting with Editors

The meeting began at around 12:15pm on Monday (August 24) at the official residence of the opposition leader on Minto Road in the capital.

Editors attending the meeting include Jaijaidin Editor and National Editors Council (NEC) Convener Shafik Rehman, Amar Desh Editor and NEC Joint Convener Mahmudur Rahman, The Daily Star Editor Mahfuz Anam, Prothom Alo Managing Editor Sazzad Sharif, Inqilab Editor AMM Bahauuddin, Naya Diganta’s Salahuddin Mohammad Babar, Bonik Barta Editor Dewan Hanif Mahmud, Wada’s Shafiqul Alam, Khabarer Kagoj Editor Mustafa Kamal, Ajker Patrika Editor Kamrul Hasan, Samayer Alo’s Syed Shah Nawaaz Karim, Banijjo Protidin Editor Gias Uddin and Dhaka Mail Editor Harun Jamil.

Editors and representatives from several other newspapers, including Daily Evening News, Protidiner Bangladesh, Dainik Edin and Bhorer Dak, also attended the meeting.
