Remittances of Tk 28,000 crore in just 25 days of July, Islamic Bank tops
According to the report, during the mentioned period, $1,657.1 million came through private banks. $337.17 million came through state-owned banks, $301.55 million through specialized banks, and $3.62 million through branches of foreign banks.
On a bank-wise basis, in the first 25 days of July, Islami Bank collected the highest remittance of $357.68 million and is in the top position.

In second place, Bangladesh Krishi Bank received $301.55 million. Then, through BRAC Bank came $226.09 million, and Agrani Bank collected $169.31 million.
According to Bangladesh Bank data, as the flow of expatriate income through legal banking channels continues, remittances play an important role in strengthening the country's foreign exchange reserves.
