Urgent directive from Dhaka Education Board for educational institutions

In a notice published by the board on Saturday (July 25) night, it was informed that after the application for correction of name and date of birth is duly completed, it must be forwarded to the board without delay. At the same time, this directive has been sent to the heads of all educational institutions under the board.

The notice states that many educational institutions are not sending the applications to the board within the stipulated time even after completion. As a result, students and applicants are facing unnecessary hardship and confusion, which is undesirable.

Additionally, it has been made mandatory to mention the applicant's or their guardian's own mobile number in the application form. Under no circumstances can the mobile number of the educational institution or any other person be used.

The education board has urged all concerned educational institutions to take necessary precautions and follow the directives properly in this regard.
