10 more children die from measles and symptoms
In the last 24 hours, nine people died in Dhaka and one in Sylhet from measles and measles symptoms. From March 15 until now, a total of 575 children have died from measles and symptoms. Among them, information on the deaths of 485 children from measles symptoms has been reported in the country. During this time, 90 children died after being diagnosed with measles.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, from March 15 of this year until now, the number of suspected measles patients is 68,579. During this time, 54,798 children were hospitalized with measles symptoms. However, among them, 51,511 children recovered and returned home from the hospital. On the other hand, from March 15 until now, the number of confirmed measles patients is 8,943.
